Having decided to marry, we knew we wanted to have a more personalised and intimate ceremony than a conventional Registrar provides. So we contacted Deb and she quickly arranged a 'no obligation' meeting at our house to discuss what we wanted. From the very start Deb was so helpful in explaining exactly what she does. Essentially, this involves getting to know us in great detail and giving us a questionnaire to complete about ourselves and our relationship then creating a bespoke ceremony for us to approve and amend as we wished. Further meetings involved helping us to plan our celebration day, providing all stationery and materials for our family sand blending and always being available to answer and queries or questions. On our big day, Deb conducted the most wonderful and personal ceremony with husband Phil on hand to take loads of photos and help with the music. All this for less than the price you will have to pay for a Registrar, whom you've never met, to attend your chosen approved venue to marry you. With a celebrant of course, you will still have to do the legal bit at a Registry Office which will cost about £60. Deb is extremely professional, fun to work with and we absolutely loved having her as our celebrant. She made our day magical and perfect in every way.

We were so, so lucky to have Deb perform our wedding ceremony in December and I cannot recommend using her for your wedding enough!! We had the most amazing, personalised, special ceremony I have ever witnessed- it was so much more than we ever hoped our wedding would be. We had so many comments from guests about how we were so lucky to have such a personal touch to our wedding, it was really lovely. Deb gave us so much more than a registrar ever would- meeting with us before, sending scripts over for approval, editing them as many times as we wanted and literally giving us the licence to do WHATEVER we wanted- she was up for anything- she embraced the madness and joined in! I cannot thank her enough for making us feel so special and to give us a ceremony we will never forget- anybody is lucky to have her involved in their special day!

We had Deb as our celebrant at Layer Marney Towers in August. We were so incredibly lucky to have her. Our ceremony was romantic and had all the guests in tears. Deb was brilliant. She made the day perfect, personal and memorable. She was empathetic and totally understood our needs and wants. The scattering of my husband's ashes was just what he wanted as we were outside on his farm. The family were together and we chatted and reminisced as we walked to the four corners of the farm. Even having some laughs along the way! All the while Deb was there gently leading the service. I highly recommend her.
Deb is a wonderful celebrant. She is kind, understanding, creative and up for anything! When we asked her if she’d be willing to host a ceremony on a meadow, before traipsing round a farm, we thought we’d surely be met with confusion and perhaps a no. How wrong we were! Deb took our quirky brief and ran with it. Writing beautiful words about my dad before donning her wellingtons and fulfilling our every wish. The result? The most beautiful and fitting tribute for my Dad and the comfort to us in knowing he’s resting on the land he loved and worked on all his life.
Deb was celebrant for my mum’s funeral. She was very compassionate & professional. She came to our house making notes while we talked about mums’ life through emotions, but Deb didn't rush us. She sat & listened & compiled a beautiful reading within days & let us read through it & adjust anything right up to a day before the service. We wouldn't have wanted anyone else leading mum’s funeral service. Thank you Deb.
I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for yesterday but also thank you for being a real support for me and my family over the past few weeks since we first met and for guiding us through this emotional journey. You are a lovely and caring Lady Deb and everyone yesterday was highly complementary of the service and your words, friendliness and references to Mum and Lynne and I.
A Huge thank you for the wonderful funeral service, From the Eulogy to the reading and music – Everything was perfect and very fitting for mum. Everyone who attended remarked that you delivered it as if you had known mum for years, a great gift.
I recently attended a naming ceremony organised by Deb and was blown away by how personal it was to the family. All those who wanted to contribute were able to with personal messages to the baby. It was a fantastic celebration of a new life joining the family and the support that was available for his whole life. The ceremony was filled with love and emotion and joy. I have never been to a more meaningful naming ceremony.
