Why choose a celebrant led ceremony? Deb Reed Celebrant Essex dandelion logo

Celebrants are becoming more and more popular as couples are realising that they can have a unique ceremony totally tailored to them, reflecting their own beliefs and values. There really are no rules – anything you want is possible and not only that, but your ceremony can also be held in any venue or location you wish!!

How it works:Deb Reed Celebrant Essex dandelion logo

This first step is to book in a date for a discovery session, either in person or via zoom. This is a great opportunity to get to know me and what I do, and you can tell me about your vision for the big day.

If you decide I’m the celebrant for you, I will send you a couple’s questionnaire and we will meet again to chat in more detail nearer to the big day. I will then design a beautiful unique ceremony tailored to you as a couple. I can share the script with you and re-write until you feel it’s perfect or it can remain a surprise for you both on the day if you prefer!

On the big day I will arrive in advance so that I can check that everything is in order and coordinate with your wedding suppliers to make sure everything goes as planned. You won't need to worry about anything because I'll welcome guests and inform the wedding party of their responsibilities. I'll be yours the entire day, so don't worry if your wedding preparations take longer than expected.

Then for the exciting part...when I get to deliver your bespoke ceremony! I'll guide you through exactly what to do and when, and you and your loved ones will be left with the most amazing memories of your special day.

The legal bit! Deb Reed Celebrant Essex dandelion logo

A Celebrant led Wedding Ceremony is not currently a legal marriage.  Most couples do the legalities with a ‘2 + 2’ Ceremony at the Register Office a week earlier, this currently costs Approx £68 at my local registry office. You are then free to have your personalised wedding ceremony in your dream location with absolutely no rules to worry about.
